Globe’s ticket pre-selling for Coldplay’s Manila concert closed after 10 minutes

Are you hoping to get your hands on tickets to Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams concert in Manila before the public sale on Nov 24?

Tough luck, fans — you will have to wait just the rest of us.

Telecom company Globe previously announced it will have a exclusive pre-selling of Coldplay tickets for its subscribers. A Globe subscriber can reserve two tickets by texting 2363, according to the pre-sale mechanics published on its website. Reservation starts on Fri, Nov 18 at 9 A.M.

Unfortnately, it looks like the tickets exclusive for Globe subscribers sold out — less than 10 minutes after the reservation period began.

It’s true what they say — the early Coldplay fan catches the concert tickets.

Pinoy Coldplay fans were outraged, of course.

But it looks like there special unicorns who managed to get ticket reservations during the Globe event.

Don’t fret though if you failed to get ticket reservations. If you’re a Citibank cardholder, you can participate in their exclusive pre-sale on Mon, Nov 21.

A number of fans have been encouraging Pinoys to watch the Coldplay concert in South Korea and Singapore instead, saying tickets there are way cheaper than the ones being sold here.

But according to a report from The Straits Times published on Thu, Nov 21, more than 12,000 tickets for Coldplay’s concert in Singapore have already been during a pre-sale for Citibank cardholders there. Their pre-sale event was meant to run from Thu, Nov 17 to Sat, 19. Tickets sold out after an hour.

So if you still plan to watch Coldplay here (or elsewhere), best of luck!
